Come and visit our “Indigenous Presence in Early Davis County” exhibit.
It’s available during office hours at the Kaysville-Fruit Heights Museum of History & Art exhibit space, in the north foyer of the Kaysville City Administration Building. Exhibit on display from April through the summer months of 2024.
For more information about early Davis County, check out the ever-growing Map of Indigenous Locations in Davis County which includes over 75 locations. Each location has a storyline and several include additional photos. Visitors can hear the language spoken by the Northwestern Band of the Shoshone by the use of QR codes and can explore the map of interactions in the same manner as well as with the provided exhibit guide to the map. View Fremont artifacts unearthed as early farmers plowed their fields and loaned artwork created by Shoshone are displayed.
