  • Chas Pearson of Salt Lake paid us a flying visit last Thursday morning.
  • W.S. Barnes and E. C. Barber, members of the firm of Barnes, Lewis & Co., and R. C. Barnes, an employee of the Deseret National bank, were up from Salt Lake on a visit last Sunday.
  • A conjoint session of the Young Men’s and Young Ladies’ Mutual Improvement associations will be held tomorrow evening at 8 o’clock.  All invited.
  • The Brick and Tile Manufacturing company are doing a rushing business.  They have commenced shipping brick to be used on the new bank building at Brigham.
  • In view of the fact that Ogden and Salt Lake are to have such great attractions, the people of Kaysville have concluded not to celebrate the Fourth of July.
  • At a mass meeting of the citizens of Kaysville precinct, held in the city hall last Monday evening, James H. Linford, Sr., T. F. Roueche, T. H. Phillips, J. H. Linford, Jr., and R. W. Barnes were chosen as delegates to the county convention, to be held at Farmington next Monday.  It is understood that the delegates will use their best endeavors to secure the nomination of T. F. Roueche for selectman, J. H. Linford, Jr., for clerk, H. W. Barnes for assessor and collector, and Thos. H. Phillips for surveyor.
